Drew Hayden Taylor
Drew Hayden Taylor, originally from the Curve Lake First Nations in Central Ontario, has spent two decades travelling the world and writing about it from the Aboriginal perspective. An award-winning playwright, author, columnist, filmmaker and lecturer, he has managed to bridge the gap between cultures by tickling the funny bone. His writing combines humour, passion, spirituality, and tough realism to create a hopeful vision of the future that will appeal especially to young adult readers. He has been an award-winning playwright, a journalist/columnist, short-story writer, novelist, television scriptwriter, and has worked on over 17 documentaries exploring the Native experience.
